New Storage Boxes

For those of us who believe some projects must be properly matured before finishing, just like a good bottle of wine, I have found these storage boxes, they have a divided tray in the top and come in a range of sizes. They're on sale at Woolies at the moment, I may have bought a few to try. Please excuse Lewis enjoying his banana smoothie in the background.

It's been slow progress, with lots of things on, I haven't been getting much done, but today it's full steam ahead. Hopefully I will have some finished items to show by tonight.

Elsie's Flower Garden

Our new pattern, ready to go out to shops tomorrow. Elsie's Flower Garden is a sewing cushion designed to sit stabilly on your knee (the base is weighted) to elevate your project to relieve your neck and shoulders. There are pockets around the sides to hold all your supplies, all finished off with a little stitchery and everyone's favourite hexagons.

Summer School

I had a lovely day yesterday, out meeting lots of lovely crafty ladies at Mrs Martins Summer School. Lisa and Lou were there doing their thing from Max and Louise with lots of lovely patterns, Barb Smith aka Theodora Cleve with her gorgeous buttons and I also met Melody from www.thehouseonthesideofthehill.blogspot.com.au. So much fun and laughter filled the hall all day, great to meet so many crafty gals.
